He is making the architectural changes and doing much of the carpenter work, assisted by their son Jim, 18. Jim will enter BYU this fall on a scholastic scholarship. Daughter, Cathy, 16, helps her mother is tuned. The store is a family project, headed by Mrs. Stewart who was named several years ago in a volume of Outstanding Young JUDGED Paintings of local Senior Citizens were displayed in the Tabernacle Friday and selections were made for entry in the State Fair. From the 25 pictures exhibited there were five chosen by judges for entry in the Senior Citizens Exhibit at the fair. These were: Twin Rivers by Beatrice Stade, Provo River by Cora Daniels, Early Autumn by Nelda Hanks, Winter Night by Della Chatwin, North Point Maine by Bernice Pulver. Honorable mention was won by Elmer Jones Feather River years. Dawna Butler Stewart, proprietor, states that when finished the store will be complete with attractive back entrance and customers will be able to take advantage of the fine new parking lot constructed a year or so ago by Payson Chamber of Commerce. A new front is designed with turned posts upholding an balcony that is outlined with a rail and short posts. Lights across the top, spaced at about six inches, are original tothe building where B.F. Ott Drug Store was located for many years. Clothe Shoppe is lettered across the top and stands out in brilliant white against a dark green paneling that fronts the entire store. The interior is being remodeled to give more display space and additional turned posts will be placed as a divider between the present sales room and the additional one, now used for storage, that will give needed space for displays. Another room at the rear is being cleared and will be used as a work room, moved from space that will become part of the sales area. An attractive entry at the back of the store will be designed in keeping with the Gay Nineties era, to which the entire business Funeral services for Calvin M. Peterson were held Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 1:00 p.m. in the Santaquin Ward Chapel. Bishop Arden LeBaron officiated. Prelude and postlude were played by Nadine Alexander. The Singing Mothers sang Look Up To Him, directed by Vivian Roper and accompanied by Nadine Alexander. Thomas Spotten gave the opening prayer. Estella Peterson gave a tribute after which Pres, and Mrs. Max Nelson sang Beyond The Sunset. Doyle Crook was the speaker followed by a solo by Rex Hold Thou My Hand. Hafen, After Bishop Arden LeBarons closing remarks the Singing Mothers sang Prayer Perfect. Albert Kay offered the benediction. Family prayer was given by Elmo Kay and Marion Davis dedicated the grave. Fred Perry Jackson, 42, of 386 N. 800 E., Bountiful, died Friday in Middle-tow- n, Ohio, of a heart attack. He was born Sept. 7, 1927 a son of Harvey Perry and Fern White Jackson.
