the stake presidency two weeks ago and gave their final authorization to complete the deaL In addition to a dry farming operation the past owner of the ranch has kept on the land 300 head of purebred For this it has been the practice to sow considerable alfalfa and clover for hay and as well as various pasturage hardy grasses The land is so situated that these crops do very well It also is passible to raise spring as well as fall grain in the event that there Is any winter kill of the fall grain Operation of the farm will come under the direction of the stake presidency with the direct assistance Of other stake members acquainted with dry farm practices in the area One family will live on the farm It is- planned Other help will be hired and use made of donated labor and equipment
