basic training On Iriday January 25 sixty Scouters met at the Della 1st and 2nd Ward to receive training Training was conducted by fourteen members of the District Stall' Reid udwig served as the Scoutmaster duecting and coordinating the activities Juan ope was senior patrol leader He was in charge of the training and kept it moving at a lively pace The participants weie first organized into patrols a key feature of the Scouting program and one in which Scouting differs from other organizations A patrol being a small group from six to eight people with one of them serving as the leader
