Show On Nov 20 Mr and Mrs Clem Utley drove to Las Vegas where they were overnight of Lora’s guests sister and Louis and Stanley Duncan The next morning the Utley’s boarded a United Airlines to San Antonio plane Texas There they were guests of their daughter and Tami and Roland Benson They enjoyed a delicious dinner on Thanksgiving prepared by Tami The Bensons took them of interest many places including the large exclusive jewelry store where Tami is employed After a wonderful week with spending their children the Utleys flew back to Las Vegas They were overnight guests of the Duncans enjoying their visit with them very much Clem and Lora drove on home the next day Their son Tony Utley was HINCKLEY Sharon Western Ph: The Hinckley 2nd Ward held their Christmas homemaking meeting Wednesday evening It was a motherdaughter affair and 70 people lined up at the “tasters table” Each sister brought a casserole or salad The rolls drink and desert were furnished The classes were by the committee gingerbread houses jeweled decorations and hot pot protectors for the cabinet The First Ward Meeting was held Tuesday evening They made scripture Santas and bags and Mrs Santas They also enjoyed a nice luncheon Little Celeste Stevens was blessed in the First Ward on Fast Sunday She was blessed by her grandfather Clyde Stevens Her daddy “Sam” Stevens was home from his work on the drill Other rig for the special occasion visitors were Ken and Ester Thompson and family Loretta and Steve Jacobsen Annette Black and grandparents Wyora and Hale Jeffery all of Delta Gordon Jeffery of Provo was here also and of course grandmother Carolyn was beaming proudly as this is their 27th grandchild Alma Edwards of Salt Lake was here to visit her sisters Alta Warnick and Enid Damron We took our children Darlene Sarah and Becky to Salt Lake to see the Christmas lights and temple square in all it’s spendor We stayed overnight with our daughter Shannon and Whitt Lovell and four children Our girls like to go to the malls to get jostled about by the crowds and see the rush and hurry or they think they haven’t been prepared for the “Big Day” The residents of East Center Street have their homes decorated so lovely it looks like Santa Claus Lane Lonnie and Linda Potter Ellen and Kirk Lewis and Steven and Pat Jones have really gone all out to make their homes lovely Did you know is a super roller that Horace Wilkins skater? Golda Christensen has returned from spending a few days in St George Her daughter Carol took her to Meadow where she went with her son Jim to Leeds where she stayed at the home of another daughter Elsie and Howard She visited in St George Hunsaker Pete and Hazel with her brothers Stewart who do temple work there and with Gale and Eldene Stewart who reside there She also visited with her Reed and Irene Talbot She returned home on Saturday dinner of a guest for Thanksgiving another son and his wife Sam and Joann Utley and four children Their and his wife oldest son Michael Kathy and children of Heber came to visit relatives during the Thanksgiving holidays They were guests of LeGrande and Kathy’s parents Mildred Warner and ehjoyed the holiday dinner with them Grant Robinson took Noma Jackson to grandmother to spend Thanksgiving Mapleton with her son John and his wife Julia Jackson and family Wayne’s John and Julia’s son parents Mickey Jackson just released from service with the US armed forces brought Grandma Noma home Nov 23 He was accompanied by his cousin Danny Jackson of Spanish Fork Noma ehjoyed her visit very much and was able to visit the grandsons on their trip 4 A highlight of their trip was visiting Channel 5 to see the taping of a TV show Brothers of Virgie Ivie Loyd and of Nephi came Clayton Williams Dec 3 and Clayton’s son Allen Williams of Fillmore came Dec 7 to help Delial and Virgie with some jobs On Dec 5 the needing attention and his wife Ivies’ Dean and Virginia Howard of Mills visited Coming from Scipio Dec 6 were friends Monte Robins and his wife Maxine Surely nice to have all of these folks call on us to help brighten our days Pauline Robinson is in SLC visiting and with her daughter Betty and Bruce Nibley and Robinson Kit and Colleen children came from SLC and spent and Sunday with his Saturday Grant and Arleen Arleen parents dinner cooked a special for them Mr and Mrs Grant Robinson went to Salt Lake City Nov 25 They visited their sons and wives Kit and Kirk and and children Coleen and Arleen’s Sherry and children mother Mrs Laura Atha They took care of some business the next day before returning home Mr and Mrs Avalon Johnson were in Woods Cross Nov 26 where they attended the viewing that evening Ellen Johnson for his who passed away early the morning of Nov 24 They attended the funeral services the next day there in services and the graveside Meadow Cemetery where burial took place Mr and Mrs Glen Alldredge and baby Julie Ann were in Salt Lake 3 attending to some City Dec His sister business Cindy
