The lack of sleep starts a chain reaction for many other problems such as stress and anxiety. With the pressure of all the school work, being involved and trying to work a job, most students dont save enough time for sleep. Studies show that if students dont get enough sleep, they are actually more prone to stress and illnesses. There are many new apps for smartphones that help people fall asleep and stay asleep. There are also some to help with stress, anxiety and depression. Some of these apps include Operation Reach iSlee-pEas- y, Out, Optimism, BellyBio and many more. These apps were created to help people overcome certain health issues such as stress, anxiety, depression and sleeping problems. I tried out an app called Sleep Well. I have used it the last four nights. The app is supposed to help you fall asleep quickly and stay asleep. It uses a type of hypnotizing to keep your body relaxed while you are falling asleep. There is also calming music on the app that is supposed to help keep you asleep. The app has not helped me at all; although, I have only used it for four days. I have never been one to get much sleep. 1 usually get about five hours of sleep, and never do I wake up feeling refreshed. There is another app called Meditation that I want to try. This one helps you to calm your body so that it can drift into a sleep state. In this day and age technology is a huge part of our lives. It shouldnt be too hard to find an app that can help you. If you dont have a smartphone, you can always search on a computer, and find written tips. Technology is all around, so there is always some way for you to find what you need. Most of these apps are available for both iPhone and Android phones. Get one and try it out for yourself. You never know if it ' will help with the stresses of college life if you dont try one.
