The football team brought great pride to Dixie with their second in the nation finish. The volleyball team took third in the region and set an example. What can we say about Rebel basketball? The men were a step away from the national tournament before losing to Ricks. The Lady Rebs set a new record for wins in a season. This spring, the softball team took fourth in the region and the first Dixie winning record. The baseball team rallied all the way to the JUCO National championships. The high athletic standards Dixie College holds was exemplified this year through the outstanding performances of players, coaches, and fans. The tradition of an excellent sports department and heritage held true throughout the entire year. On behalf of the sports department of the Dixie Sun, congratulations to the athletes, coaching staffs, fans and administration for an outstanding year of sports.
