Show Page 6 - THE DIXIE SUN - March 21, 1973 Students Show Negative Attitudes inA short questionnaire cluding the questions, "Do you go to the school movies and why", "What do you think of the movies in general?" and, "How could the movies be improved?" was given to several students. In almost all cases, students reflected a negative attitude toward them. All of the students interviewed go or have at least gone to a few campus movies and are therefore experienced with the kind of movies shown and their prices. When asked the question of whether she went to the movies Debbie Bayless said, "I go to get out and away from the homework". This is one of the most common reasons for going to the movies. Other students replied similiarly saying it gave them something to do. Many interesting replies came from students who didn't like the movies. One girl, Maxine Nielsen, doen't like to go to the movies. When asked why "Because it either she said, costs or they are so ridiculous that I'd rather sit at home". had a similiar Rene Newton reply by when she said, "I go because there is nothing else to do.
