Some of the newcomers are new members of the faculty. Behind every successful man, there's said to be a successful woman, and in this case, it's Mrs. Betty Garner, high school physical education and health teacher. She is the wife of Dixie's band leader, Mr. Ron Garner. Mrs. Garner had the gumption to graduate from C. S. U., where she was active in music circles. She obtained a degree in physical education and music from the University of Utah, along with an MRS degree. Unless this is done, it shall be the responsibility of the custodian to evict him or them from the building. Dixie welcomes another bachelor Mr. Michael M. Norton, formerly of Centerville, Utah. Mr. Norton is the new Public Relations Director at Dixie. He comes to Dixie with a long list of accomplishments: among them, entering the University of Utah at the age of 1G, through the Ford Foundation's Early Admissions program. At the unixersity he was a member of Sigma Chi scholastic fraternity, the Student Senate, and the band in which he played a trombone. He graduated from the U with honors in the field of political science. He is presently engaged in graduate studies in educational administration. He dislikes tardiness, too much make-up- , and bachelorhood! Interesting enough: His grand mother was born in Pine Valley in good-lookin- IS75! Policy on Duplicating In order that materials needed quantities by the staff or students at Dixie College might be prepared in a satisfactory manner, a variety of duplicating machines have been provided. 1. Routine work in quantities of less than 100 can be run off on one of four spirit-typduplicators which are strategically placed on the campus. Instructors must be sure that they or their student assistants know how to use these machines. in some e 2.
