The victim, Viliami F. Toko, was pronounced dead at the scene from an apparent slash wound to the throat after police found his body on the porch of a duplex at 266 S 900 West about 10 15 p m. A Salt Lake City man was booked into jail and another brought in for questioning Thursday in connection with the apparent slaying of a man Wednesday night. Police booked the man, 43, early Thursday morning and brought the second in for questioning later that day, said Lt. Nick Paloukos of the Salt Lake City Police Department. They also recovered a weapon in connection with the incident. A witness told police Mr. Toko had stood bent over on the porch in front of the duplex, took a couple steps and collapsed. The witness then telephoned police. 2 Gunmen Rob S.L. Pharmacy The suspects, both described as 6 feet 2 inches tall with dark brown hair, then locked Robbins and the clerk in a back room before filling their pockets with pharmaceutical drugs. They remained at large Thursday night, Lt. Tolman said. The gunmen, however, did not notice the sister of the clerk, who left by a rear entrance and called police. Salt Lake City police officers arrived at the scene at about 8 pm. where they found Robbins and the clerk inside the locked room. Lt. Tolman said that a description of any missing drugs would not be available until an inventory of the pharmacy has been made. Two gunmen forced their way into a westside pharmacy Thursday evening and made off with an undetermined amount of prescription drugs after locking the stores owner and a clerk in a back room. The owner of Plaza Pharmacy, Dennis Robbins, and an unnamed clerk were not injured during the incident, said Lt. Keith Tolman. Mr. Robbins told Salt Lake City police that he had closed his store at 1175 Glendale Dr. at 7 p.m. He and a clerk were working after hours when Mr. Robbins went to his car for some things shortly before 8 p.m. Mr. Robbins was accosted in the parking lot by two armed men, said Lt. The gun would not fire at first, Mr. Kim told police, but apparently fired on a second attempt. However, no slug or bullet hole was located by police. One explanation, said Lt.
