Thursday the day of oCAr March Anna Larson Thorpe was born in in Mt Ml Pleasant on the tJ of April r. r her parents Jens Larson Lund arid and Anna AnnaMaria AnnaMaria AnnaMaria Maria Larson Lund having immigrated immigrate here fr m Denmark a short a-short rt time before On Ous the 2411 of July of the same year ear her ier parents parent retraced their their steps step across ss the weary and desolate plains with the historic list one ox teams They settled in Omaha and lived there for Cor several years afterwards moving out on Creek In in Washington county wh where here re they purchased o othe othe the very best families and gave complete complete com corn satisfaction wherever where she went went Being in in contact with the better class ol of society and with those those who ivele ool amongst amongst the best of similar institutions at the same time doing housework for Cor her board On Oo the ad of August iSSo sh she received her graduating certificate While in us school her was chat chai- by the same neatness and exactness ex ex- as usual and in in the outcome she stood first in her class She Sli taught in inthe inthe in inthe the district si o of Washington county for or several years very success success- fully ully trouble now came upon the family Mary her her next next y younger i oger sister who h had d closely followed the the footsteps of h her r older sister sister was taken seriously sick jc v while working v for Mrs Mr Pa rr in P Blair All AH med medical cal aid as A as called to her assistance assistance but to z no vail The doctors then advised her to embracing bracing the Gospel before re she died diec They w were re re b baptized d in in Lehi by bv Elder Peterson Peterson and ana others others' Anna taught school in Lehi for a few e months but after her sister Mary was wa dead she went to h house work again She w worked in Salt Lake City and Evanston and finally came to Ephraim to visit visit her relatives and friends While here her lere sh she met and and became acquainted ac ac acquainted acquainted ac- ac with her subsequent husband nd nc Thomas L L and WT wa married in inthe inthe the L Logan gan Temple on the of oi November 1887 Her duties now v were vere ere of a different nature She started out out upon the most important phase of h her life ife After her marria marriage she and her er husband settled down in in Ephraim where they have lived together ever since since until Providence deemed it wise to call her hence Of late years she has no notel not el enjoyed joye the best of health but lived in l lopes of improving ving Her recent confinement confinement con con- no doubt was wa the immediate cause of her death notwithstanding the best est medical advice the city f a affords was waS waS' consulted S She leaves four
