Show I HUNTINGTON The Annual stockholders meeting of the Huntington Canal & Resorvoir association as-sociation will be held in the Relief Society So-ciety hall Monday at 1 p. m. The object of the meeting isr to hear the annual report re-port of the secretary and treasurer ard to transact any other business that may properly come before the meeting. The Town Board is offering a rewaral of fifty dollars for information as to who broke the window in the bank Christmas Eve. "The Mechanic's Reprieve," presented present-ed during holidays by our home dramatic troupe, was well received by a crowded house the first night, and by a good sized audience the second night. J. W. Nixon gave a free dance in his newly-finished hall last Saturday evening. even-ing. The hall was filled to overflowing, there being present a number of friends from neighboring towns, and everybody seemed to have a downright good time. Mr. Nixon treated his hired hands to a free supper preceding the dance. |
