Show : COMMISSIONERS' MEETING The old board of commissioners met l ist Monday morning in regular session and approved the bonds of various officers of-ficers elected at the November election. Also accepted report of Wm. Hitchcock, county road commissioner. At noon the old officials retired and the new ones assumed their respective offices. On proper motion Peter Niel-son, Niel-son, h.ild-over commissioner, was elected elect-ed chairman for the new board, and session was adjourned until afternoon. Wm. A. Pettey was appointed justice of peace for Emery precinct. Applications of John W. Brasher, William Hitchcock, Lars Christensen and M. E. Johnson for position of road supervisor laid over for future consideration, con-sideration, as was application of J. M. Graham for position of county physician J. H. Killpaek, Lewis W. Peterson, Arthur Grange and F. M. Guvmon were appointed deputy assessors upon recommendation of assessor E. J. Grange. O. J. Sitterud was appointed deputy clerk upon recommendation of clerk W. G. Peacock jr. : J. N. Powers was appointed deputy county attorney at Green River. On Tuesday morning the commissioners commission-ers proceeded to take up matter of making other appointments as follows: ; Lars Christensen was appointed road supervisor; J. M. Graham was appointed appoint-ed physician; and Carl Wilberg of Castledale Cas-tledale and J. R. Earp of Green River were appointed deputy sheriffs. , |
