Show ' FERRON The, people of Ferron are not asleep in the Red Cross work. The meeting on May 9 of the Relief society and Young Ladies at the Social hall was grand success. After a patriotic program pro-gram 4 little Red Cross girls passed the contribution box and $20 was contributed. con-tributed. In the evening a party was given in honor of Alvin Soderquisi and Samuel Zwahlen. The Red Cross kit were presented by Mrs.Surelda Ralph?. One of the quilts which the Relief society had cut, pieced, and quilted in one day brought $20. Mr. Roy Taylor Tay-lor had the lucky number for both comforters. Boys rushed $S to hiri and again It is for sale at the next Red Cross dance. A strange co-incidence at San Diego. Two sisters and a cousin from Itlahe married three Sammies from Camp Kearney, The 7-day furlough proved very eventful in the little 5-roomed bungalow.
