Show CLEVELAND The farmers have recently sent for a carload of fiour which is ex pected to arrive ar-rive in a few days. Mrs. Ssdie Whimpey and children left last Friday for St. George where she will join her husband who has rented a farm there. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Jensen have welcomed wel-comed a new arrival at their home. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bowdin were called to part with their infant son last week. Funeral services were held Monday Mon-day in the ward meeting house. Mr. and Mrs. Bowdin have the sympathy of the whole community, this being the eighth child they have laid awav, leaving leav-ing them with only one. Joseph Dumayne has been very sick for some time. Others who are on the sick list at present are: Mrs. Marie Christensen, Mrs. Matt Cowley, Ole Jensen, Mrs. Margaret Thomas, John Anderson, Earl Allred, Edw. Larson's son, Mrs. Hyrum Ottestrun and daughter daught-er Charlotte, the children of L. Peter Larson, George White, Harry Williams and Gilbert Winkler, and the infant of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Larson beside many others we do not call to mind at present. Miss Lucile Cowley is home from the E. S. A. during ths illness of her mother Miss Myrtle Willi tms, who has been employed at Standardville for some time, has returned home, but has been quite ill since her arrival. Mrs. Bert Childs, who has been sick for some time, was taken to Castledale last week to receive medical attention. Mr. and Mrs. S. Johnson of Sunny-side Sunny-side are visiting relatives here. Emery White, Leslie Anderson and Carl Alger of Storr? visited relatives and friends in Cleveland last week. A very interesting game of basket ball was played in the Davis hall last Wednesday night by the Cleveland and Mohrland teams, the latter winning by a score of 34 to 13. Mrs. Marie Christensen, who has been very ill the past week, left Thursday Thurs-day morning for the hospital at Salt Lake to receive medical aid. Dr. Hill accompanied her. |
