Show HUNTINGTON After a long seige of illness John L. Brasher, one of our most respected citizens, was laid to rest last Saturday. No eulogy can add to what his life and labors in the community portray. He is survived iy a large family and a host -of relatives. The little infant uf Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Chidester was claimed by death Wednesday and was buried Thursday. ! Also Mr. and Mrs. John Jensen were called to part with their baby, which passed away Thursday. Dow Young has returned from Michigan, Michi-gan, where he has been laboring as a missionary. I The Sunday School officers and teaeh-: teaeh-: ers social held last Monday evening was certainly an enjoyable time. The drama the M. I. A. put on last r week was j ist fine and will be presented s in Mohrland Friday, 29th. A dance in the Nixon hall is billed for Saturday, and tSie Mohrland orchestra e is engaged to play. |
