Show STARTS TRAPPERS AT WORK After a conference with Ogen forestry forest-ry officials, George E. Holman of American Fork, who was recently appointed inspector in charge of the extermination of predaUry animals in Utah, departed for the southern sections sec-tions the state to start trappers to work. Under instructions of the . United States biological survey, Mr. Holmes is empowered to employ twelve trappars for a trapping campaign on the principle winter sheep ranges of the state during the comming winter. The new inspector adviced the forestry forest-ry officials that has arranged to distrib-these distrib-these trappers four to tne west desert rauges in MillHrd, Beaver and Iron counties, two 10 Tooele county, two to Sanpete and Juab counties, two to the Trumbull mountain country north of the Grand canyon and two to Carbon and Emery counties. Mr Holman informed in-formed the forest service officials that the limited number of trappers is not sufficient to cover the winter ranges satisfactorily, but that he will make the best of the twelve men. All of the men to be thus employed previously worked for individuals or stock associations as trappers. It is probable that the number of animals I destroyed will be sufficiaut to defray the expences of the campaign accord-j accord-j inJ3 to Mr. Holmes.
