Johnson of Huntington corrects an item appearing in the Or-angeville Or-angeville correspondence of last week wherein it was stated that Grandfather Shiner was the last of the Civil War veterans left with us in the demise of the late Fred W. Fail. He reminds us that Huntington has an honored old soldier sol-dier in the person of John Davis who is about to pass his 77th milestone and saw five years of service with the colors 1 winding up with Sherman's march to the sea.
