Most of the morning newspapers news-papers print editorials concerning the sinking of the Lusitania. The Times says it is not for Great Britain to speculate upon the course to be adopted by the United States government, now that they are confronted con-fronted with a situation which concerns con-cerns that country as closely as it does Great Britain. "The members of Mr. Wilson's ministry," min-istry," says the Times, "are the guardians guar-dians of their national honor and the lives of their own people. Upon them rests a heavy responsibility which wa shall not seek to accentuate, but the destruction of the Lusitania must assuredly as-suredly hasten the day when every civilized power will feel constrained to join with us." |
