Show HUN NAVY KEEPS OUT. Would be Suicide for German Ship to Venture Into Open. London. According to German papers, pa-pers, considerable irritation has been caused in Germany by the rapidity with which England has been throwing throw-ing men into France, and criticism has been directed at the admiralty. In a vigorous defense, Hear Admiral Karl Hollweg points out that the activity of the German navy is subject to geographical geo-graphical limitations. "A voluntary attempt to remove these limitations," he argues, "would signify a heroic but useless suicide for the German fleet." |
