Show CLEVELAND The Price orchestra held forth in a dance at Dayis hall last Saturday night. A very large crowd was in attendance both from here, and neighboring towns and an excellent time was enjoyed by all. School will close Friday, May 7th, at which time appropriate exercises will be held. The Primary will go out for a May walk Saturday, May 1st. The District try-out for the M. I. A. day was held at Cleveland last Saturday. Satur-day. The contest on dancing was to have been held Friday night, but spectators who came to witness the event were greatly disappointed at not seeing any contest as Elmo and Victor failed to put in an appearance at all and Cleveland failed to do anything so, of course, Huntington won by default; but we wish to state that they did some very pretty dancing. The next day, however, Cleveland was not so slow and won the broad jump and won second on the high jump, and were willing to try others, but here's to be hoped that Cleveland will do better next year. Many of our farmers are moving out on their farms for the summer. A-mong A-mong others are Matt Cowley, Gilbert Winkler, Frank Lund, and Charles Johansen. |
