Show BREAD MUST BEAR LABEL Heber C. Smith, state dairy and food commissioner, announced yesterday that manyviolations of the new weights and measures law representing the labeling of bread and the weighing of butter, had come to the attention of his office. Provisions under the law are that bread sold in the state must bear a label setting fourth the net weight of the loaf. Butter, under the new law, must be packed in packages of one quarter, one half and one pound weights. Salt Lake Herald-Republican. . |
