Show 14 YEARS AGO From the Progress of April 27, 1901 H. M. Duzett came up from Emery on Thursday for supplies from the Utah Implement company. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Williams of Emery drove through town Thursday on their way to Price. Sam has a coal deal on hand. J. L. Boulden and family have moved down from Price to make Castledale their permanent home. "There," exclaimed the druggist, "I have made a mistake and yiven a man morphine instead of quinine. " "That's awful," shrieked his wife. "I should say so," said the druggist. "Morrhine is worth twice as much as quinine." A large number of the young friends of Earl Brandon were entertained by him at his home last Tuesday. The occasion was the celebration of his eighth birthday. The children played and ate, and ate and played and enjoyed enjoy-ed themselves only as children can. A daughter was born to the wife of Hans Christensen of Emery on Saturday. Satur-day. James Bradley of Huntington and Miss May Seely, daughter of Moroni Seely, were married at Mt. Pleasant last week. A party was given to a number of invited guests and friends of the families. The young folks are now living at Huntington. |
