Show CLEVELAND School started Monday with a full corps of teachers and a large enrollment of pupils. The following teachers have been employed for the coming year. Prin. Jas. M. Jorgensen, (who was our last year's principal), ' Arnold Jensen, Grace Kelson, Katherine Thompson, and Hazel Acord. Dan Richards has moved his family to Standardville where he is employed. Ray Cowlev has gone to Storrs where he has employment. J. A. Curtis has moved his family down from the mountain for the winter. Mrs. Lizzie Evans and children of Mohrland visited relatives here last week. Don Cowley and Wm. Housle of Arizona Ari-zona and Mrs. Sam Cowlev of Sunny-side Sunny-side are visiting relatives in Cleveland. George Stokes is home from Montana where he has been for several months. Miss Veria Winkler has returned from a visit to Ferron. Miss Riss Minchey has returned from Black Hawk where she has been employed. em-ployed. Miss E mma Johnson, who has spent the summer at Sunnyside, v. sited a few days last week with her parents and then went to Price to again resume her studies at the Carbon County High School. The visitors at the Whimpey home all left for Salt Lake last Monday except Mrs. Keltz who will remain here for some time. Mi3ses Ruth and Carrie Whimpey accompanied them, Ruth to attend the Carbon County Hign School at Price and Carrie for a short vacation in Salt Lake. Threshing has now begun. The Bee Hive girls of Ck-wl m t last Tuesday had a surprise party on one of our elderly women, Ms. Mary Williams. The party was held at her home where the meeting was also held.
