He was visiting local 'relatives and friends the first of the week. Mrs. ,E. A. Howard was over from Huntington Wednesday interviewing the local board relative to securing a furlough for her son Rulon Arnold, who enlisted in the Utah artillery last fall and is now located at Camp Kearney. Kear-ney. 1 Applications for furloughs are being S filed for nearly all the local boys who are at Camp Lewis. Some little delay in securing the furloughs is likely to result from the fact that the signature of A. M. Truman, government challenging chal-lenging agent, was not affixed to some as required. 1 i Heats snd Groceries for the County 1 Prepared to furnish all kinds of meats and grocer- ies at all times. Parrish and family, late of Tooele, are now cozily located at the former Behunin ranch home south of town. Mr. Parrish is an experienced i office man though coming from the I farm originally. Mr and Mrs. Arthur Jeffs of Mohr- : land and Rav Jeffs of Sunnyside were guests at the family home the forepart of the week, having come down to see their brother Jimmie before the latter lat-ter left for Camp Lewis. The final articles of agreement for the construction of the Orangeville-Ephraim Orangeville-Ephraim road have now been filed with the state road commission by de- partment of agriculture representatives representa-tives and it seems very certain that work will be resumed on this project withn a couple or three months. Utah woolgrowers will realize between be-tween 50 and &0 cents a pound for wool in the grease with the government govern-ment taking over the entire supply, according to wool experts, that being the price obtaining on July 30, last year. This is somewhat under the price expected by some parties. The wool clip this season in Utah will a-mount a-mount to between 15,000,000 and 16,-000.000 16,-000.000 pounds, it is estimated. Only a single business establishment establish-ment remained open and doing business busi-ness on cleanup day, and the same thing happened on Liberty day. The party thus flagrantly disregarding the patriotic spirit of the people of the town must not appreciate the little trade he gets, but can thank his lucky stars that Castledale people are not yet acquainted with the way such parties par-ties are dealt with in other parts of the country.
