The annual June conference of the Mutual Improvement Assn., Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is still more than a month away yet thousands of youths have been working "hard for weeks to make it "the greatest ever. Dates for this years conference have been set for June 17 through 20. It will be held in the Salt Lake Tabernacle and a dozen other locations in and near Salt Lake City. Some Events Highlights of the conference will include a speech festival, womens roadshows, young camp day, "Explorer Explora-do- , and and the Master Golden Gleaner banquet. An event that. will be attract- ing widespread attention will be Dance Festival in the spacious University of Utah Stadiumat 8:30 p.m. on June 18 and 19. Dancing on a field of green, arrayed in colorful postupjes, more than 8,000 young men and women will present "Rainbow of Tomorrow featuring folk and popular dances of the United States, Canada, Mexico and the I " South Sea Islands. Provo Finish The dancers who will appear in the stadium shows will be selected from 60 area dance festivals which began in Tucson, Ariz.,. and Raymond, Alberta, Canada, May 1 and will conclude at the Brigham Young University ; stadium in Provo June 12.
