Show TWELVE MORE MtN TO LEAVE THIS MONTH Emery county is called upon for 12 more men during August besides the : five who were called to leave for Camp j Fremont on Thursday and the three I Ralph Jensen, Ervin Anderson, and Brya Fox, who leave the middle of the month for the six-weeks training at the University of Utah. Oliver Guymon Guy-mon of Huntington, George Magnus- sen and Junius F. Day of Castiedale, and Harry Furdy of Green River were four of the five called to entrain for Camp Fremont last Thursday and all j showed up. J. VV. Nixon jr. of Huntington Hunt-ington was also called but did not appear ap-pear and it is supposed that he has enlisted en-listed in the medical corps though there is some mit-understanding in the matter. The boys now in training at the University Uni-versity of Utah including Van Acord and Cecil Day of Castiedale, Gunnar Ihler of Orangeville, Jacob Minchey of Cleveland, Ervin Christensen of Molen and William Dahling of Green River, are scheduled to leave the coming Monday for parts unknown, and several of the relatives of the boys are availing avail-ing themselves of the opportunity of bidding them bon-voyage in Slt Like. I The extra clothing, etc., of the Emery i county boys i mostly from Orangeville, Huntington aud Green River) who have been in training with California regiments regi-ments of the national guard at Camp Kearney, has been received by the home folks and it is assumed that they are on their way for France. |
