NEW OFFICERS FOR DISTRICT FEDERATION (Continued from page 1) eration of women's clubs, held last Wednesday at Castle Dale, was a very successfull and pleasing affair, the i ladies of the local Pleasure club doing j themselves proud in the entertainment entertain-ment of their guests and incidendally, Mrs. B. W. Dalton, of Castle Dale, former vice president of the district federation, was honored with the e-lection e-lection to the presidency for the ensuing en-suing year. A short business meeting of the delegates was held in the forenoon, at which officers for the year were elected and other Items of business attended at-tended to, the meeting being held at the home of Mrs. T. R. Faddis. At one o'clock lunch was served at the home of Mrs. B. W. Dalton and at three o'clock the public meeting was held in the Relief hall. Mrs. Edward Bicshel, state president, who was expected ex-pected to be present, missed her train out of Salt Lake and was unable to get here in time. - A short program was rendered, and a talk by Mrs. Hammond of Price on war work for women was especially enjoyed. The Misses Margaret and Drucilla Seely also rendered a duet in pleasing Btyle. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year. Mrs. B. Cooper of Price, secretary; Mrs. Edmunds of Castle Gate, treasurer; and Mrs. Dalton of Castle Dale, and Mrs. Foutz of Price, delegates to the state federation. W. 8. 8.
