Show r HUNTINGTON The directors of the Relief Society hall are having the building renovated and the stage removed. This change will give eighteen more feet to tha length of the dancing floor. New paint and fresh calcimine will put on a spring effect and everything is expected to be in fine trim for the event of the M. I. A. day. A full representation of the officers of the M. I. A., accompanied by many friends and parents ' expect to attend the ball and the final try-out at Cleveland Cleve-land this week. G. H. Jack is now employed at the Nixon hall painting a complete set of up-to-date scenery for theatrical plays of all kinds. Mr. Jack is a noted artist who has spent recent years in' Europe practicing his profession. His work needs only to be seen to be appreciated. There is a probability that he will stage a play for Thursday, the .29th, in the Nixon hall for the entertainment of all visitors not particularly interested in dancing. Friday evening there will be a ball in the Nixon hall with the best of musie promised, and Saturday evening the picture show with its usual attractions. J. V. Leonard and family have returned re-turned home from Provo. Tha electric light people are still a-live a-live and rustling around in the interest of that enterprise. ' Mrs. Olive Hickman is visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Nixon. E. L. Geary and wife have sold their home to a Mr. Peter Johnson, formerly of Green River, and are moving te Provo. Huntington people are making preparations pre-parations to entertain a large crowd of people at the M. I. A. meet, and everything: every-thing: will be done that can be to make it a very pleasant time for both old and young. Don't disappoint us by staying away. We can entertain in good style seven hundred "people. ' |
