Show XOTICK TO CONTRACTORS Sealed proposals for constructing or improving the National Forest Road project known as the Ephraim-Or-angeville Road and located within or partly within the Manti National Forest, For-est, State of Ctah, Counties of San Pete and Emery, will be received by the District Engineer Bureau of Public Roads, U. S. Department of Agriculture, Agricul-ture, at Bureau of Public Roads, 403 Hudson Building, Ogden, Utah, until 2:00 o'clock P. M. on the 20th day of August, 191S, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read, i The right is reserved to reject any and all bids, and none will be considered except those from contractors ascertained ascer-tained to be experienced and respon-1 respon-1 sible. j The length of project to be con-: con-: structed or improved is approximately j 36.2 miles, and the principal items of I work are approximately as follows: Common Excavation, 150.000 Cu. Yds.; Rock Excavation, 42,000 Cu. Yds.; Rubble Masonry, 1.S00 Cu. Yds.; Bridge Timber, 1115 M. B. M. The work embraced in this contract con-tract shall be completed within 300 weather working days. Special attention is directed to the provision in the contract form regarding regard-ing adverisement for labor and requiring requir-ing that additional Iabo be obtained by the contractor through the agency of the Employment Service "f the United States eDpartment of Labor. Said contract form and the maps, plans, specifications and estimate f quantities may be examined by responsible re-sponsible contractors at the following addresses: Bureau of Public Roads, 584 Mills : Building, San Francisco, Cal. ; Bureau of Public Roads, 403 Hudson Hud-son Building, Ogden, Utah. Funeral services were held at Claw-son Claw-son Thursday over the remains of the young son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Tatton of Cameron. The little one died of pneumonia. In mentioning the outoftown attendants attend-ants at the funeral services for Wm. J. Seely, we overlooked the name of Mrs. Heely's brother, Mr. Burton, of Salt Lake. Mrs. Joseph Seely (nee Florence Shiner) was not able to accompany her husband here to attend the funeral but remained at the Mt. Fmmons home with a new baby girl to help keep her company. Bids are to be opined August 20 and the work is to be completed in 300 weal her working work-ing days.
