Show PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION. HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION MJMIiEit SIN. A JOINT RESOLUTION PROVID-ing PROVID-ing an amendment to Section 17. Article Ar-ticle 7, of the Constitution of the State of Utah, relating to the duties of the Auditor and of the Treasurer. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Utah: Two-thirds of all the members e-lected e-lected to each of the two two houses j concurring therein : i Section 1. That it Is proposed to amend Section 17, Article 7, of the Constitution of the State of Utah, so . Hint the same will read as follows: j 17. The Auditor shall be Auditor of public accounts. The public moneys mon-eys shall be deposited by the Treasurer, Treasur-er, under the supervision of the Board of ' Exm miners, and as provided by law. Section 2. The Secretary of State is hereby directed to submit this proposed pro-posed amendment to the electors of the state at the next general election in the manner provided by law. Section 3. If adopted by the electors elect-ors of the State, this amendment shall take effect January 1, 1917. Approved March 17th, 1915. State of Utah, Secretary of State's Office. .
