Show RELIEF SOCIETY PARTY ONE BIC SUCCESS To say that the party that the local Relief Society gave last Friday night was one big success would hardly be doing justice to the hearty response that was universally accorded the efforts put forth by the sisters to make the same a suecess and thereby make a substantial showing to the stake authorities, inasmuch as it was foi the benefit of the stake that this and like parties in the other wards were given . The magnificent Academy hall was proferred to the society free of charge and the excellent Academy orchestra under Prof. Driggs also furnished the music free, and these, with other little favors here and there that it is the pleasure of the people generally to accord for such an occasion, made the a.Tair mere of a success than could have been anticipated even. People of every age were out in full force to enjoy themselves, and enjoy themielves they did, for the general report was that it was easily the big-gestsiance big-gestsiance of the season. Picnic was served during the intermission and this feature itself added no little to the evening's pleasant memories. |
