Show EMERY Last Monday evening the Primary association gave a Holloween party for the children. All enjoyed being ghosts and brownies. A prize was given for the best costume. We certainly appreciate the excellent work done on the county road between Emery and Ferron. This has all been done under the direction of Commissioner Commission-er C. A. Larson. The approaches to our new bridge are also fixed up in fine style. B. J. Peacock and L. W. Peterson are found missing this week. We don't know where they are unless they have gone on a trip through the county to see old acquaintences and make new ones. Last Friday the public schools enjoyed enjoy-ed a half-day holiday. Principal Mur-1 Mur-1 dock took his school for a stroll in the I hills. They must have had plenty of j exercise for they were all glad to arrive I home at sundown. i Miss Hakenson, Miss Killpack and Miss Wickman all celebrated the day i with good programs. I Mr. R. E. Johnson has organized his 'school. They are known as the "Hia-I "Hia-I watha classes of 1911. " Friday svening they enjoyed themselves at a nut party . Their room was lighted with Jack-O-Lanterns and a good program ws rendered. |
