FERDINAND ERICKSON The mere mention of the name, Ferdinand Ferdi-nand Erickson, brings with it remembrance remem-brance of a friend to Emery Cou.ity and the State of Utah. He is so well acquainted ac-quainted with the conditions and needs of our State, that we need have no fear in trusting our cause in his hands. C. C. RICHARDS Is our candidate for Judge of the Supreme Su-preme Court and is the equal of any jurist in the state. He was born ahd raised within its borders, knows its people thoroughly and will give them justice. HON. LARS P. OVESON This man has been before the people of this'county and is honored and respected re-spected by all. He served as State Legislator from this County one term. He is possessed of every qualification requisite to the office of Senator. He is for '"State-wide Prohibition first, last and all the time." JAMES W. NIXON. Mr. Nixon came to Emery County as a school teacher twenty-three years ago and acted in that capacity for fourteen years. He entered business ten years ago with a limited capital, but at the present pre-sent time his business has grown to be one of the largest in Emery County. He understands every phase of life from the plow up. He is a strong advocate for State-Wide Prohibition and pledges his whole support to that end. JAMES B. CRAWFORD. A man who has resided in the county for twenty-six years. At present he is serving as president of the Emery County Stock Association also president of the Orangeville Mercantile Association. Associa-tion. Mr. Crawford is a genial and straightforward man, a man of vast experience, has made a business success of his own affairs, and is capable of handling the affairs of Emery county. EDWARD L. GEARY. Mr. Geary is a farmer and stockman. He has a wide acquaintance throughout the County. He always takes a pride j in his own home and surroundings. He i has twice been elected a member of the J Huntington Town Board. He is thorough- j ly acquainted with all questions in 1 Western life fiom the freight road to the farm. Emery county has Deen his home for the last twenty-five years. ! As County Commissioner we can get no more careful man. J. R. EARP. Mr. Earp, a resident of Green River, candidate for County Clerk, is a man of middle ae, of good judgement and an able accountant; a man in whom his neighbors have absolute confidence. No mistake can be made in supporting a man with these qualifications. GEORGE SITTERUD. For Sheriff we need a man with George's ability, he is known to be fearless, conservative and always careful care-ful in his undertakings. He is zealous in fultiilling any public requirement made of him, a citizen of Emery county for 27 years and is acquainted with every nook and corner of our county. MISS LOUISE KOFFORD. Miss Kofford is a native of Emery County, one of our own girls. She is a graduate of the E.nery Stake Academy and has been engaged by the Republican Republi-can County Recorder in his office on account of her ability so that she is thoroughly acquainted with the work. Her success in the schools of Emery County was attained by her promptness and fidelity. HON. WILLIAM HOWARD has lived in Emery County over thirty years. He successfully served U3 as County Attorney at the time that the County Attorney attended to the District Dis-trict Court business. During that time some of the most important criminal cases ever prosecuted in Emery county were successfully handled by him. He is a man in whom all have perfect confidence. con-fidence. At present he is acting as Town Attorney for Huntington. ISAAC ALLRED. The town of Emery supplies a candidate candi-date for the office of County Assessor. Mr. Allred is a man of vast experience, ie thoroughly acqaaJnUd witfe til prt of Emery county, knows all the avenues of trade and commerce. He is a practical prac-tical man of good judgment. CARL BERG. Mr. Berg is well known in Emery County for his honesty, integrity, and business ability. He is well qualified for the position of County Treasurer in every respect. Everybody knows Carl Berg, the painter. IRA R. BROWNING. This name carries with it the conviction convic-tion that he is the best fitted man for Surveyor in Eastern Utah, a thorough Civil Engineer and draftsman. NEPHI L. WILLIAMS is the nominee for the office of County Superintendent of Schools Emery county He is a man well known throughout the entire county. He has served the County for two years as Treasurer. He is a Normal Graduate with one year of College work at the University of Utah. He has had nine years experience as a I teacher in the Schools of Emerv county ' and the year 1907 passed the State examination ex-amination with a higher average than any other teacher in the State. |
