Advertising Our Resources 1 The advertising done by Utah at the recent land show in California has resulted re-sulted in a great a nount of goocj and the opportunity for the future publicity is much better than ever before. Utah will do all in her power to assist in making the great fair of 1915 at California Cali-fornia one of the best ever held, It is expected that three millions of people will visit the western coast during that year. Most of these will pass through ! Utah and will have a chance to stop at ! Salt Lake to learn something of Utah, lit stands to reason that t-.is publicity I will mean a great increase of population for all parts of Utah. Joseph E. Caine, secretary of the Commercial club, who has just returned from a visit to Los Angeles, said Sunday Sun-day that Utah had received more favor-' favor-' able publicity in California and the west in the last six weeks than ever before I in the history of the state, j Accordin to Mr. Caine the beginning j of the publicity was when C. Collett, secretary of the Utah Manufacturers association, is in receipt of letters from the county commissioners commission-ers of Emery and summit counties in answer to letters sent out by Mr. Collett a lew weeks ago to all the counties in the state inviting them to install exhibits ex-hibits in tne chamber of Commerce, Vermont building, certifying their intention in-tention to t lace exnibits of the resources 01 their counties in tne building. Mr. Collett says tnat tne counties of tne state are beginning to realize the benefit bene-fit that comes from keeping their resources re-sources betore tne visitors of Salt Lake and that mny are beginning to make arrangements to keep a permanent dis-j dis-j play in tne Vermont building. |
