Dear editor: j Permit me to thank you very much ; fer your kindness in so regularly send- ' I ing me the Progress. I must Fay that t 1 certainly appreciate getting it. On i the day tha-t it reaches here all others f are set aside. I wish also to inform you of my change of address. I have been transferred trans-ferred from the Christiania conference to the Btrgen, which includes all of south and western Ncrway. There are only two of us laboring as missionaries; in this, conference now formerly there were on an average of from 12 to 22. All of our traveling is by boat, or . rather coast steamers. In pleasant weather I enjoy this, but I just return- . ed from a twelve hours ride that was anything but pleasant. We are in many respects feeling the effects of this awful war. Prices have . advanced on all foodstuffs, clothing and ; f, fuel.
