Show FORMER EDITOR LOCATES IN INDIANA The office of the Linton Record, the local Republican newspaper, a weekly, fiat has had more or less of a successful success-ful career in this city during the past 15 years, has been sold by the Linton Record Co., which purchased it last fall, toJ. S. Mornttof Castledale, Utah, who will take charge of the plant next week. The Linton Record Co. was composed of several local Republicans who took over the plant just prior to the last election for reasons and purposes bent known to themselves, and they having no further need for it have disposed of it to a practical newspaper man, who will run it as a Republican weekly. The new owner comes from the west where he has been engaged in the newspaper news-paper business for manv years in different differ-ent places. His last location was at Castledale, Utah, but for more than five years he corducted a paper at Hooker, Okla., and at one time was a United States commissioner in that state. He appears to be a "live wire" and we welcome him to the city and in the local fraternity. Daily Citizen. |
