Show FERRON Miss Kate Lemon entertained a number num-ber of young folks at herNiome Saturday Satur-day evening April 6th by giving an Easter party in honor of the "500"club and the club may feel very highly honored by the reception. The party commenced by playing three games of "500" the prizes being won by Prof. G. A. Weggeland and Miss Margaret Barkley. We were then escorted to the banquet room where we all sat down to a table, beautifully decorated , and very artistically designed. After I eating a hearty meal and finishing up j on ice cream, cake, and punch vhe , I guests retired to the parlor where they indulged in singing. Mrs. Clarence Lemon rendered three very beautiful vocal selections and a number of songs" were sung by all. During the musical part of the program many visits were made to the punch bowl and toasts were offered in honor of the evening- The pleasant time came to an end at 2 o'-i o'-i clock in the morning when the guests all went home congratulating themselve j on having the opportunity of enjoying such a pleasant evening. Base ball is coming to the front a little all the time. We are not perfect but are trying to become more perfect and it is good hard work that tells. Two weeks ago we defeated Clawson 16 to 4 in Ferron and Easter Sunday we defeated them 24 to 5 on their own j grounds. Following is the line-up: j Ferron Clawson i Sydney Peterson c V King L. E.
