Show A JOINT RESOLUTION PROPOSING AN A-MENDMENT A-MENDMENT TO SECTION 9. ARTICLE VI OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF UTAH. RELATING TO THE COMPENSATION COMPENSA-TION OF THE MEMBERS OF THE LEGISLATURE. LEGIS-LATURE. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Utah, two-thirda of all the members elected to each of the two houses concurring therein: Section 1. That it is proposed to amend Section 9, Article VI, of the Constitution of Utah, so that , the same will read as follows: ! 9. Until otherwise provided by law. the mem-1 mem-1 bers of the Legislature shall receive Eight dollars ($8.00) per day and ten cents per mile for the dis-I dis-I tance necessarily traveled going to and returning j from the place of meeting on the moBt usual j route, andlshall receive no other pay or perquisite, j Sec. 2. The Secretary of State is hereby directed direct-ed to submit this proposed amendment to the e-lectors e-lectors of the State at the next general election in i the manner provided by law. i Section 3.
