Show CLEVELAND The weather man is sure giving us a good soaking in this part of the country. It looks as if we would all have to invest in gum boots. Mrs. Bess Larson of Helper was a Cleveland, visitor last week. j Miss Lind Olsen who has been working work-ing at Salt Lake City for the past year or two, is home visiting with her mother, Mrs. T. Olsen. Miss Anna Oviatt, one of our most popular and highly respected young ladies, and Mr. Leo Peterson of Castledale Castle-dale were united in marriage in the Salt Lake temple last Wednesday. We wish them a long and happy married life. The boys of Cleveland had better brush up or the lads from other town.s will coax all their lasses away. We are glad to note that some of our young people have gone to spend the winter at the academy at the Dale, and also to attend the high school at Price. The students of the eighth grade gave their opening party last Friday night, at which they entertained the teachers and some of the townspeople. The room was decorated with autumn leaves. All seemed to enjoy themselves, them-selves, especially during the refreshment refresh-ment period. |
