Show EMERY COAL AN'D COKE FILES INCORPORATION Articles of incorporation were filed Tuesday by the Emery Coal anil Coke L-impany. Fifty-four stockholders a;v r,.nieil in the articles. J. R. Sharp, trustee for the Utah Coal and Coke company, is recordej as th" holder of l.;U7 shares. The company is capitalized capi-talized at. $2(1, 000 in shares of $ 1 e:u-h. The officers are: D.H. Wiliiams.presi-eciit; Wiliiams.presi-eciit; J. R. Sharp, vice president; Alma Williams, secretary and treasurer; A. jiroderiek, II. C. Wick man and A. Biiakerhof, addition il directors. All stockholders with the exception cf J. R. Sharp and J. H. Redd of Price are residents of Emery, Utah. The Itnos given as holdings of the various stockholders are all in Emery county near Emery and Ferron townsites. The object of the organization is to "engage in tile business of coal mining in the state of Utah." The acquisition of cj il lands and converting coal into coke is aiso an important object. The company is said to be the result cf several weeks' work by J. R. Sharp in Emery countv. Mr. Sharp is brother cf William G. Sharp, president of the United States Smelting, Refining and Mining company. v These two men have been activein promotingthe Utah Coal Railroad company, now running a survey into Emery county.
