Show CLAWS ON Christmas and New Year passed off very nicely. The Primary gave one of "its best programs we have ever enjoyed in Clawson. A real Santa Claus appeared appear-ed during the program Tuesday eve-j eve-j ning the. 25th as the children were j j singing "Jolly Old St. Nickolas." He j .had his sack on his back, loaded with i ; gifts for all good boys and girls. The I ! parts were all rendered with satis- j faction. The Young Ladies gave a grand i ball Nc-vv Years eve. All had a pood j I time old as well as young. j Mr. Lee Tatton was home to spend hoiidavs, but left on Saturday for Eph-raim Eph-raim where he has been for the last three months. Misses Elzada Barney, Blanch Hitchcock Hitch-cock and Hazel King- have gone back to Castledale to school. . Mr. Joseph Prows has put a new tuck in the town with his gasoline lights. He and his brother James Prows, have gone north wrh their lights. Orson Barney is busy building his new house. Sister Louisa Prows, who was taken' very sick while in Sunday school is feeling better now. Miss Foote from Gunnison is a visi- ' tor he-e. j The Dramatic club is putting on a play. : |
