Show CLEVELAND We were glad to have our student from the E. S. A. spend the vacation, at home. j Mr. H. H. Oviatt, sr. and Mr. Louis. Larson spent the Christmas week at Ephraim visiting relatives and o! !. time friends. Emery White, Joseph Stokes, Wm.. Stokes, and others spent the 1 d iays. I at home with relatives and frien i ;. ! Mrs. Martha Allred "is visaing with ! her sister, Miss Lucy Stokes (Continued on last paje) CLEVEIAND ! Mr- and Mrs. Einar Erickson have; been visiting with their daughter in ' Carbon county. The members of the basketball team are preparing to give basketball entertainments once a week at the Davis hall. Mr. John Johnson, the carpenter, : ) , has been putting a few.' finishing j touches to the school library, which I will be greatly appreciated by the teachers. . The fair which was given-hy the local i Primary association on New Year's j day was a success. It showed what an energetic band of workers the Pri-j Pri-j mary officers are. There was a dance in the afternoon for the "kiddies" and one in the evening for the "grownups". Our school teachers, Misses McKee, Fitt and Christensen. who spent the vacation at their homes, have returned and bok as if they had been well treated while away. Miss Carrie Whimpey, who has been attending the Emery Stake academy, has discontinued, we wonder why! |
