Show ((ounty ' - - LAWRENCE Mrs. Barton, who ha? been visiting with her parents, Bishop and Mrs. Tuft, left for Monticello, San Juan county, where her husband, Edgar, has been waiting at home for wife and baby. It is believed that James Wilson of this place is suffering from typhoid fever. Bad water is possibly the cause of his case. Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Wilstead are preparing for a mountain trip, when Mr. Wilstead will look after the Huntington Hunt-ington and Lawrence reservoir for a couple of months. Miss Elna Brinkerhoff has been at-, tacked by appendicitis from which she is recovering. Mr. and Mrs. Clem Christensen have returned from a visit with Mrs. Chris-tensen's Chris-tensen's parents in Wayne county: While there Mrs. Christensen underwent under-went an operation owing to a sudden illness. We are told that Mr. Will, a master of cabinet making, has been employed in Salt Lake City. Messrs Will and Law recently bought a home in Lawrence and we welcome them here. EMERY Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Blackham have gone to Moroni to spend the Fourth of July. Chas. Worthington and family are visiting in Juab and Sanpete counties. Pari and Ed Anderson and families made a quick trip to Manti and back, last week the object of their trip being to visit the temple. FERRON Mrs. H. W. Curtis and daughter, Ida left town last Thursday for Salt Lake and Idaho. Miss Curtis will visit at Salt Lake while her mother will go to Idaho to attend the funeral of her mother. A little visitor made a call on Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Christensen Sunday afternoon. The little one, being very much interested in the home circle, decided de-cided to add a.link to the home chain. A crowd of people from our town gathered together a few camping things and took their departure for Fish Lake Sunday morning, where they expect te have a good time while catching Hhe wary trout. May success be theirs! Our bishop, N. K. Beal, called on the sisters of the Relief Society to take up the time Sunday afternoon. Their subjects sub-jects were all interesting, they oeing "The Life of Christ" and "Motherhood' The reading given by the second sister was also very much enjoyed. Before closing Mr. Lowry bore his' testimony of the goodness of the Lord towards him. he being proud to say he was numbered num-bered among the early pioneers of Utah He is a man of strong faith in prayer. Miss Mildred Nelson and John W. Behling, two of Ferron's mast highly esteemed young people were married last Wednesday at the home of the bride. The affair was a very pretty little home wedding with only the near relatives presjnt.
