Show County Fair? Is a county fair a feasle proposition? Every man who is interested in the growth of this great valley should consider con-sider this proposition, and if anything is going to be done it ought to be begun . now. Just by way of suggestion a suit- j ' able place in the county could be defi-' nately decided upon by the several ! commercial clubs, and ground procured J by lease, or otherwise for one or two weeks time. The fair grounds could then be divided into sections and each ! , town could be alloted a given amount of space and have them pay accordingly. Then each town would be expected to j furnish their own exhibits and devise 1 means, by entrance fee or otherwise, to defray the expenses of exhibit and a ; certain portion of proceeds from all exhibits ex-hibits could go into an award found to i , be paid back to the people by way of ' prizes. I A large portion of the grounds could be set apart for cattle, horses, sheep and hogs, another portion for fruit, another for merchants and another for industries. " Horse races could bo easily arranged if we haven't the fastest in the world, and this too would help to defray expenses ex-penses This would be the finest means of advertising ad-vertising that Emery county could undertake. un-dertake.
