Show BREAKING OF PEACE CHARGE IS DISMISSED C. H. Winders of Desert Lake, charg-by charg-by Jos. Smith with the breaking of the peace at that place some little while ago, was acquitted Thursday Jn the justice court of R. C. Miller. The preliminary hearing was given sometime ago and he plead not. guilty and when the case finally came up Thursday a jury trial was demanded and the accused turniM ioose, not withstanding with-standing the fact that he virtually confessed the use of bad language and threats as charged. Former district attorney F. E. Woods defended Winder and county attornpy U. E. Curtis prosecuted the case. Messrs. Orange Seely, D. R. Se;lj, and P. F. Zufelt were three of the four jurors. |
