Show a joint resolution proposing an a-aienum a-aienum ent of section a, article u, of the constitution of the state of utah. relating to the taxation of mines. Be it resolved and enacted by the Legislature of the State ot Utah, two-thirds of all the members mem-bers elected to each of the two houses concurring therein: Section 1. That it is proposed to amend Section 4. or" Article IS, of the Constitution of the SLate of Utah, so that the same will read as follows: 4. All lands containing con-taining eoaL h dro-carbona or stone deposits, after af-ter purchase thereof from the United States and all property and surface improvements upon or appurtenant to su:h lands which have a value separate and independent of all such lands and the net proceeds of all such lands, and the by-pro by-pro lucts of at valuable deposits contained therein not taxed in a crude or raw condition.shall bs taxed as provided by law. Section 2. Tne Secretary of State is hereby ordered or-dered togive this proposition to be published in at least one newspaper in every county in the State whe a newspaper is printed and published for two months preceding the next general election. elec-tion.
