Show DR. VANCE TO TEACH ANIMAL HUSBANDRY At the opening of the school next y.-ar Dr. Arthur Vance will take charge of the Animal husbandry division di-vision of the agricultural work at the Brinham Youn ; University. Dr. Vance wiil teach courses in veterinary science, i u'.ludintf free clinic work, care and m map-ement of farm animals, as well as courses in slock judine;. This addition to the ap-ricultural faculty fa-culty places a specialist at the heatl of each of the three great divisions of agricultural science; namely, agronomy horticulture and animal husbandry. The increased enrollment in the agricultural agricul-tural classes and the constant requests coming from the students make necessary neces-sary the employment of a specialist for this division of the work. Dr. Vance is a former student of the Brigham Young University. One year a 20 he returned from the Kansas City Veterinary College, one of the leading veterinary colleges of the United State s with the degree of D. V. S. Since that time he has been one of the leading lead-ing practitioners in Utah County. He has served as a veterinary inspector in the Bureau of Animal Ilusbanday of the United States Department of Agriculture. Agri-culture. Dr. Vance will therefore come to his nork with a training and an experience which will enable him to speak with authority in his chos-n line of work. |
