Show L j PERRON The little child of Mr. and Mrs. James Stevans is quite ill. Dr. Graham Gra-ham was called and it was necessary to take the little one to the Salt Lake hospital.. The parents also accompanied accom-panied them to the hospital. We have not yet learned how she is getting a-long, a-long, but hope to see them home again before long. Miss Evelyn Lowry, who has spent' ' the past winter in Price teaching school , is now home with us again. Jennie Lemon is back heme atter spending a successful year in school at Manti. ! Miss Eva Williams of Emery was visiting in Ferron Sunday. Mrs. Thomas Jones was compelled to take her bed about, a week ago. Something Some-thing like two years afro, she underwent under-went an operation and since that time her health has been very poor. She is ;a good' mother and a hard working woman. W hope she will take a few months of vacation to help improve her health Friday fo-enoon the 'lightning struck in one- of Mr. H. W. Curtis' large weeping willow trees, breaking off one of its large branches. His little son, i Ted, was standing at the opposite side of the tree, but escaped from the blow with a severe scare.
