Details are being considered by the state board of education on the state's newest tax levy, for district school equalization purposes. Under the law authorizing and fixing this new state tax levy, the board's action necessitates that it must be based on reports sworn to by the superintendent and tbc president of the board of education of each school district. and this report had to be filed with the state board of education on or before June 15. Under the new law, on or before June 25. Dr. Jensen must certify to of tbc various the superintendents school districts his estimate for the school year to begin July 1 next, of the amount of the school equalization fund that is due to the several school districts under the act.
