Show THE WEST MOUNTAIN TIMES, DECEMBER 3, 1981, PAGE FIVE At our churches WESTVALE PRESBYTERIAN This Sunday, Dec. 6, Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m. with classes from nursery to adult. Quarterly Awards will be presented for September through November, for perfect and faithful attendance. (Faithful is for one Sunday missed during the quarter.) Children receiving perfect attendance awards are Mike Ensz. Travis Cornett, Sarah Cornett and Jennifer Alexander. Children receiving the faithful attendance awards are Mark Ensz, Sherry Packs, Cherie Arrey, Christa Cole, Heather Garda, Mark Warren, Russell Warren, Brian Garcia, David Alexander and Melissa Panos. These awards will be presented during Sunday school opening worship services. Church is at 11 a.m. The sacrament of holy communion will be observed. The main sermon message will be The Glory of the Incarnation.' During the childrens hour, children will light the second advent candle. The message will be the second of a series, Preparing for Christmas from A to Z." The annual congregational meeting for the election of church officers will take place immediately after church. Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. is the second advent class, Christ Comes Among Us. On Dec. 9, the women's association will have their annual Christmas lun cheon at noon at the Governors Mansion. Following the luncheon, the group will tour the Mansion. MAGNA COMMUNITY committee meeting will be held at the church. Dec. 14 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. is the Christmas cookie special social. Participants should bring fruit for a fruit n salad and favorite cookies to four-doze- MAGNA Magna Community Baptist Church, 2908 South 8900 West, will hold a potluck supper at the church Dec. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m., followed by praise and prayer. The exhibit will open at the Salt Lake Art Center this Sunday, Dec. 6, and close Jan. 3. Viewing hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 3 p.m. The collections include nativities, nutcrackers, and Christmas wreaths and stockings many on public display for the first time. AH collections are owned by Utah residents or museums. Highlighting this years exhibit are dolls by the late Laura Alleman, of Springville, Utah. The Junior Leagues Linda Prusse describes Alleman as one of the most highly acclaimed American Orin Clawson, 76, died Nov. 23, 1981, in London, England, while serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Saints. Proceeds from the exhibition will be returned to the community through projects and programs which the Junior League also supports with volunteers, including Wheeler Farm, Lallapalooza, Utah Museum of Fine Arts, Neighborhood House, Court Resource Center, Smiles, Hospice, and Utah Opera worker.
